Welcome to the Home of the New-Generation-Crew Clan! | |
| Welcome to the New-Generation-Crews site. The NGC is a Savage 2 Clan recently created whos aims center around Newbies/New Players; a new player is just a future good player. The clan aspires to work on the continual improvemnt of Savage 2 Newbies and to give them, as much as possible the enviroment in which to make this happen. We are planning to integrate a fun centric mentor/player system into the clan, there is a wealth of support for this and other aspects of the clan. With the aforementioned points it mind we would like to keep this support, therefore it is a requirement to read the clan rules currently posted at the Savage 2 Official Forums: http://forums.savage2.com/showthread.php?t=17985 Read the above linked rules, it is vital since we are striving to keep a good/fun/informative/sane atmosophere for our members, mentors and officers. We are looking for players with a good attitude and a willingness to learn. (In essence be a good sport, win or lose) Ultimately we want people to enjoy the game in a pleasant enviroment so if after reading the RULES linked above you are still intrested then post an invitation request on the linked thread and Welcome! |

| The Duel servers are awsome guys! If you can get a good guy in there helping you then you will learn alot. The point of this is to encourage people to join the Duel servers every now and then. Its worth it. |

| As mentioned on the forum its my hope someone lets you guys know whether any of you will be permitted to host and official server. I have done my best, you guys have a great core and I will still help in terms of say if one of you wants someone to practice dueling with or anything along the lines that is play centric. I will add all you guys to friends and I plan to train up to get to a competative level since the fact is the clan server prices I have been quoted from members(Since no official reply) have been way out of my price range, further more no reply pertaining to allowing me to host a small UK ranked server and one other guy a ranked US server so I feel I cant do anymore but help as an outsider. (Assuming this item isnt deleted well I hope it inspires people to either get something together server wise OR make clear the stance along the lines that the clan is for SF progression only - I have been seeking clarification on this pretty much since we setup.......a frustrating as hell experience) Anyway if theres anything I can do to help along play centric lines feel free to get in touch :D Also there was a guy considering a merger with you guys if things went well but unfotunately he offered a server and I think somewhere along the line he couldnt manage it? So I havent seen him since, fact is I really got on with that person, the server didnt even matter that much so its a shame. (Just dont like having to chase people up :) plus losing good game friends who feel obligated to help and then cant manage) This is a good clan though and it has heaps of support when it comes to players who need a help to hone their game so take advantage of it and I will do what I can if asked. | DIMENSIONS[ HeaderImage = 788x105 .gif or .jpg file <---------most important one Not sure if Younggun wants other images as some of the site template is good as is however here they are (Focus on the HeaderImage though) LeftCaption = 23px tall .gif or .jpg file Center = 23px tall .gif or .jpg file (repeat-x) RightCaption = 23px tall .gif or .jpg file ] N.B I MAY have something I can give to someone who makes a good header image, its an online thing :) nothing spectacular though and I need to verify I still have some left but It will most likely be Younggun or one of the other veterans that choose which graphics to go with as I'm not artistically minded :) Also whoever does the image/images for the site will naturally get credit for their work/mentioned on site. | Start thinking about/practicing your preffered maps |
| Some members have naturally asked about clan matches, this is a great idea! However at some point we need to get consensus on what are the clans preffered maps, this is because when challenging a clan to a match the clan must specify 3 first choice maps, it therefore makes sense that we get some practice on these maps during this initial period. When I know what the top voted maps are I will add them to this news item. I'm unsure of whether to do a forum poll, discuss in clan or just get people to send PMs and count the map with the most votes. Ideas welcome! |

| Clan Training Oppurtunities/SF Instructor Requirements |
| Shikamaru and Leyleth are currently available for training; if clan members want to utilize these oppurtunities then send a PM to either of the said Veterans. (Appreciated) Shikamaru and Leyleth are also looking for players who meet the below criteria to become clan Teachers/Instructors: - Players must have 130+ SF - Players must have over 500 games played on their record - Note there MAY be exceptions made but it is entirely at the discretion of Shikamaru and Leyleth Please note if you wanted to be an instructor but do not fall under this criteria, don't worry just keep playing and you will get there! Who knows if you show yourself to excel then an exception may be made? Remember LLL ........ Look, Listen, Learn :) Finally if you are "raring to go" and get involved then check the clan site news items every few days. N.B - Scroll your mouse wheel to make sure you don't miss multiple current news items! |

| The clan is up now! Thanks Shikamaru :) As always thanks for all the support. Invites are getting sent out to quite a few people at this time so our initial member count should end up quite respectable in the next few days. Savage 2 now has a clan for newbies to improve in, enjoy your stay and hopefully as we improve we can win some games :D |
